Even on tired or busy days, a short, gentle painting session can still move your work forward and lift your spirit. You donāt have to be at 100% to create something meaningful.
Grab any simple object nearby, half a lime, your glasses, the coffee cup that you're probably sitting with anyway. Have a small sketchbook for this purpose, or some small scrap pieces of watercolor paper already prepared to do quick pencil sketchesā add one to three colors.....literally, in 5 mins, you've jumped out of your rut, got your brush wet, and proved to yourself that you CAN paint today!
Is it small? Yes. ā
Is it good enough to frame? Possibly not. š¤·š»āāļø
Will it count as a painting? IT COUNTS! š
