Welcome to Watercolor with Jill Subscription! By purchasing a subscription (annual or monthly recurring), workshop, or any instructional content for online or in person accessibility, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) and our Privacy Policy. Please read both carefully before joining. These T&Cs govern your access to and use of the membership, including all content, services, and community features provided by Jill Williams Watercolor.
1. Membership Details
1.1 Access: The Annual Recurring Membership ($395–$425/year) and Monthly Recurring Membership ($40–$42/month) provide access to the same content, including watercolor tutorials, instructional resources, monthly live sessions, and community features (e.g., private Watercolor with Jill Facebook group). Access is personal, non-transferable,
and for non-commercial use only, hosted on our Weebly platform. Access can also include the new monthly subscription: Essential Access for $9.99/monthly hosted on our Wix site, and will experience a different user access from the more expensive monthly options.
1.2 Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals 18 years or older who provide accurate payment and contact information.
1.3 Content Modifications: Jill Williams Watercolor may modify membership content (e.g., tutorials, resources) at our discretion, ensuring equivalent value, with notice as outlined in Section 6.
2. Payments and Billing
2.1 Billing: • Annual Membership: Charged every 12 months to the payment method on file via Stripe, renewing automatically unless canceled.
• Monthly Membership: Charged every 30 days to the payment method on file via Stripe, renewing automatically unless
canceled.
2.2 Locked-In Rate: Existing members maintain their membership rate ($395–$425/year or $40–$42/month) for the
duration of their active membership. Rate increases apply only to new members or upon renewal after cancellation, with notice as outlined in Section 6.
2.3 Payment Accuracy: You agree to provide valid, up-to-date payment information. Failed payments may result in suspended access until resolved via the Stripe customer portal on the membership dashboard.
2.4 Currency and Fees: Payments are in USD, inclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for transaction fees (e.g.,
Stripe fees, ~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
3. 30-Day Money-Back Offer
3.1 Eligibility: New members (not returning members) may request a full refund within 30 days of their initial purchase if they demonstrate active participation (e.g., engaging with tutorials) and no improvement in watercolor skills. Refunds are not available for members who change their mind or discontinue for other reasons.
3.2 Process: Submit a written refund request to

(mailto:jill@jillwilliamswatercolor.com) within 30 days, including a detailed explanation of participation and lack of improvement. Refunds are at our discretion and processed within 30 days.
3.3 Limitation: No refunds are issued after 30 days, except as outlined in Section 6.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Cancellation Process: • Within 30 Days: New members requesting a refund under Section 3 must submit written notice to jill@jillwilliamswatercolor.com (mailto:jill@jillwilliamswatercolor.com). • Monthly Membership: Members may cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal on the membership dashboard. • Annual Membership: Members may cancel by emailing jill@jillwilliamswatercolor.com (mailto:jill@jillwilliamswatercolor.com) to discuss dissatisfaction. Cancellation is processed immediately upon confirmation, and access ends at that time.
4.2 Effect: Cancellation stops future billing. No refunds are issued for the current billing period (annual or monthly), except
under Sections 3 or 6.
4.3 Non-Renewal: If not canceled, your membership renews automatically per Section 2.
5. Member Responsibilities
5.1 Compliance: You agree to abide by these T&Cs and Privacy Policy, use content for personal, non-commercial purposes, and refrain from sharing access or content with non-members.
5.2 Conduct: You agree to engage respectfully in community features (e.g., Facebook group). Violations may result in suspended or terminated access without refund.
5.3 Information: You agree to provide accurate payment and contact information, updating as needed via the Stripe customer portal.
6. Discontinuation or Modification of Membership
6.1 Right to Discontinue or Modify: Jill Williams Watercolor reserves the right to discontinue or modify the membership program, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion with 30 days’ notice to members. Discontinuation or modification may occur for any reason, including but not limited to personal circumstances (e.g., health issues, pursuit of other professional or vocational opportunities), business decisions, or other factors.
6.2 Compensation: If the membership is discontinued or modified, members with active annual memberships will receive an instructional offer of equal or greater value for the remaining membership term, as determined by Jill Williams Watercolor. This may include, but is not limited to, extended access to existing membership content (e.g.,
tutorials, videos, resources) for a specified period, access to alternative instructional content, or other programs. Extended access is subject to the availability of the hosting platform (e.g., Weebly); if the platform becomes unavailable, Jill Williams Watercolor may provide alternative access methods (e.g., downloadable content) at our discretion. Monthly memberships will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, with no further obligations.
6.3 Refunds: At our sole discretion, prorated refunds for unused annual membership time may be offered in lieu of an instructional offer, subject to review. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to jill@jillwilliamswatercolor.com within 30 days of the discontinuation or modification notice. Monthly memberships are not eligible for
refunds beyond Section 3.
6.4 Notice: Changes will be communicated via email, the membership dashboard on www.jillwilliamswatercolor.com, the Watercolor with Jill Facebook group (if active), or other direct communication methods, with a 30-day period for member inquiries.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 No Warranties: Membership content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Jill Williams Watercolor does not guarantee specific results from participation.
7.2 Liability Cap: Our liability for any claims arising from the membership is limited to the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7.3 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, technical issues).
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Ownership: All membership content (tutorials, videos, resources) is owned by Jill Williams Watercolor and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use content commercially without written permission.
8.2 License: Members receive a limited, non-exclusive license to access content for personal use during their membership term.
9. Privacy
9.1 Policy: Your personal information is handled per our Privacy Policy [link], compliant with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, if applicable).
9.2 Communication: By joining, you consent to receive membership related mails (e.g., updates, billing notices).
10. General Provisions
10.1 Governing Law: These T&Cs are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country, e.g., California, USA], without regard to conflict of law principles.
10.2 Entire Agreement: These T&Cs and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Jill Williams
Watercolor, superseding prior agreements.
10.3 Amendments: We may update these T&Cs at any time, with 30 days’ notice via email and the Watercolor with Jill Facebook group. Continued membership after updates constitutes acceptance.
10.4 Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
11. Right to Refuse Participation and Discretionary Refunds
Jill Williams Watercolor reserves the right to refuse or terminate a participation in any online or in-person communities, courses, workshops, or memberships, including but not limited to Watercolor with Jill and Workshops with Jill, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. Termination can extend to paid and non-paid users. Reasons for refusal or termination includes, but is not limited to: refusal or failure to pay for services, behavior deemed disruptive, abusive, or incompatible with our community standards. Terminated participants are not permitted to re-register or participate in any future offerings. Any refunds for payments made (e.g., membership subscriptions, workshop tickets) will be granted at our sole discretion, and affected individuals will be notified of refund decisions via email to the address provided during registration.
